Yukio Tsuji Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yukio Tsuji, beloved brother and Uncle.  Yukio passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026 at the age of 94 years.

Born in Vancouver, BC, Yukio lived most of his life in the community of Raymond, Alberta. In his early years, he was described as being a busy kid, into everything and was always curious.  He loved his music - singing, listening and performing. He also loved animals - especially dogs.  In Raymond, he remained very busy and farmed alongside his older brother and eventually retired and moved into Lethbridge.

Yukio will be deeply missed by his siblings Kinuko Matsuno, Ray (Lena) Tsuji, and Midori (Ken) Tanaka as well as many nieces and nephews. Yukio was predeceased by his parents Asakichi and Kimi Tsuji; infant brother Hisao, sister Sadie Higo, brother Mitsuo Tsuji and brothers-in-law, Hisashi Matsuno and Ted Higo, sister-in-law, Kimiye Tsuji and nephew Wesley Higo.

We will be honouring Yukio in a private family gathering,

Monetary (Koden) and floral tributes are gratefully declined. If so desired, please make a memorial donation to a charity of your choice.

A special thanks for the compassionate care provided by the Chinook Regional Hospital staff in Lethbridge and to all the friends, family, neighbours and caregivers who provided support, friendship and kindness to Yukio over the years.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the staff of Black Rock Terrace for the kind support and care provided to Yukio.
