Vera passed away peacefully at St. Therese Villa in Lethbridge on February 2, 2025 at the age of 97.

Mom and dad met through her oldest brother who worked with dad at CPRail. They married June 1, 1949 and celebrated 75 years June 2, 2024.

Both mom and dad were involved with horses. They participated in horse shows, gymkhanas, and rodeos. She was also a great supporter in his team roping adventures. Mom also enjoyed square dancing, clogging, horseshoes, gardening, spending many winters in Arizona and most importantly watching her grandchildren in their sports.

Vera is survived by her loving husband, Gordon; daughter Bonnie (Dave) Dingreville; son Brian (Eliz) Ball; grandchildren Tyler (Valerie Michalsky) Dingreville; Kacey (Nolan) Cotter; Blake (Leeann) Ball; great grandchildren Fallon and Brennley Michalsky-Dingreville; Oakley and Hazen Cotter; Bethany Ball.

Sincere thank you to the staff at St. Therese Villa for their care of Vera the last 2 years. A special thank you to Lorna and Fred Dorner, Gwen and Dick Aneca for everything they have done through the years.

At Veras request there will be no funeral. If desired, donations can be made out to Women’s Breast Cancer or Lethbridge and district  Humane society
