Shirley Wiltshire

Shirley Ann Wiltshire of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023, at the age of 80 years old at Chinook Regional Hospital.

Shirley will be missed and remembered by her beloved husband Lyle, and her children Sharon (Roger) of Dryden, ON; Larry (Diane) of Lethbridge, AB; Wanda (Randy) of Lethbridge, AB; Kelly (Rob) of Madrid, Spain; and Calvin (Connie) of Calgary, AB.

Shirley will also be remembered and missed by her grandchildren:  Michelle (John), Matthew, JR (Kristin), Travis (Misha), Jamie (Janessa), Jodi, Amy (PJ), Erica (Hicham), Sam and Hailey; and her great grandchildren: Ethan, Ciana, Harley, Faith, Cash, Averi, Conrad, Brady, and Adelaide. 

 She will also be missed by numerous relatives and family friends. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, sister, and brother. 

Shirley was born on November 26, 1942, in Swan River, Manitoba. She grew up in the Bowsman area, where she met her husband, Lyle. Shirley and Lyle had been married for over 63 years at the time of Shirley's passing. Shirley and Lyle moved to the Lethbridge area in 1962. They resided in many communities in southern Alberta due to Lyles’s work. Shirley loved to watch all her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren doing various activities and if unable to attend, to watch a broadcast or a video later. Shirley also took great pleasure watching them when they visited the house. She also enjoyed watching The Young and The Restless and every curling event live or on television. 

The family of Shirley would like to thank all the Drs, Staff of the ICU, and nurses on the third floor of CRH for their excellent care of our loved one. 

As per Shirley’s request, there will not be a funeral service.  There will be a private graveside service at a later date.
