Peter Eric Savage, beloved husband of the Late Teruko (Terry) Savage, passed away in Lethbridge on August 28, 2023 at the age of 93.  He was a resident of Fairmont Park Extendicare at the time of his passing. A private memorial service was held at Salmon and Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Inurnment at Temple Hill Cemetery.

Peter is survived by his sister Peggy Stanton (Bill deceased) and his children, Jim, Derek and Dorcas, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Anne Savage, his twin brother Billy and his nephew Tim Stanton.

Peter was employed for many years with Bowden’s Furniture and upon retirement settled down to enjoy the company of his dogs, listening to his extensive music collection, going to the occasional dances with Terry and having coffee with his friends at A.& W. Back in the day he was also a fanatic over Stampede Wrestling and roller derby and for a small man he could make a startling amount of noise when the action ramped up. Peter was at heart a very kind, honest and dependable man, always with a good sense of humor.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fairmont Park Extendicare for the compassionate and patient care given to Peter over the last few years of his life. Thanks to Dr. Leam for attending to Peter over the years, to Reverend Dr. Roland Ikuta for officiating at his memorial and last, but not least, thank-you Rose for being the best of neighbors in Peter and Terry’s lives.
