Morris James Fromm was born on July 14, 1951 to Moses Fromm and Ruth Julia Minor Fromm and passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024, surrounded by family. He spent a happy, accepted and contented life in Raymond, Alberta Canada and passed away in the same community.
Morris was the sixth of twelve children and was beloved by his parents and siblings, Dennis (Kay), Dixie Sudo (Don), Vinnie Jensen (Chris), Mona Powelson (Gordy), Norma Allen (Tom), Peggy Sorley (Kirk), Ginger Aneca (Morris), Lloyd, Danna Higa (Gary), Ron (Barbara), and Ken (Corrine). He is pre-deceased by both of his parents, brother Dennis, sister Danna and brothers-in-law Don Sudo and Tom Allen as well as several nieces and nephews who were all loved dearly. Despite his handicap, Morris loved, and was loved by, everyone who knew him. His cheerful nature was exemplary.
He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many callings. He was an avid fan of hockey, acting as Coach/Manager of the Raymond Rangers hockey team for several years. He also enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and had a passion for music, fishing, big rigs and cars. He never met a stranger and never forgot anyone. Morris had a remarkable memory of addresses, telephone numbers and names. He had the ability to make people laugh and he loved to recount experiences and tell stories. He possessed a loving, tender heart and was fiercely protective of family and friends.
As we mourn Morris’ passing, we also rejoice in our belief that he is reunited with loved ones who have already passed and that he will receive great rewards for the remarkable life he lived while on this earth. He is now freed from his disabilities.
We, as a family, wish to express our great love and appreciation to Morris and Ginger Aneca who have served as major caregivers for Morris the last few years of his life. Their unselfish devotion to him was a wonderful example of Christ-like service. We would also like to extend our gratitude to others who have been so supportive and kind to Morris over the years, especially during his residence at Good Sam. Thank you.
Morris James Fromm, you will be dearly missed. God be with you till we meet again!
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday September 18, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, RAYMOND STAKE CENTRE, 2 N 200 W, Raymond, AB
