Mom was pre-deceased by her parents, Edith and Frank Dewsbery. Her siblings, Dorothy Reeder, Frank Dewsbery, her brother-in-law, Jack Reeder, nephew, David Reeder and many friends over the years.
Born in Raymond on January 9th/ 1933 the family soon moved to Picture Butte where  her dad was employed at the sugar factory.
Mom lived on the brick row and worked at prices pharmacy when she was a teenager.
Mom was a strong woman and had her share of trials and struggles in her life. She loved keeping her house clean, having good food on the table and spending time with her family. Mom did many things in her life. She skied, swam, skated, clogged,  danced for us kids, played the organ and piano and walked millions of miles. Christmas time was one of the biggest holidays for her. Everybody remembers the time and energy she put into making it the best time of the year for the family. She sacrificed so much to help us out and she always backed us 100%. She worked hard on the farm in Iron Springs, raising kids, butchering chickens and looking after the animals. She worked in a dress store and and a place called the shake house in Center Village Mall for years. She then had the opportunity to stay home but she still worked hard. She went back to work for the government in the maps and distribution center and she really enjoyed that
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved the Lord. She loved attending the temple until her health prevented her from doing so. She played the organ for church service and would practice for many hours. She loved music, especially the Tabernacle choir at Temple square. In the last few years she enjoyed watching lots of the oldie goldies like Gomer Pyle, I Love Lucy, Bonanza and even Mr. Bean.
Great memories, always in our hearts, until we meet again.
Funeral services will be held at Salmon and Sons funeral home viewing Monday December 22nd 6:00 till 7:00 p.m. funeral Tuesday, December 23rd at 1:00 Salmon and Sons. We'd like to thank the staff at Legacy Lodge for her care over the last 5 years. They always said " We love Melba".
