Mara Langston Obituary

April 16, 1942 – March 23, 2022

Mara Moonyean Clark Langston passed after a valiant struggle with myelofibrosis, heart failure and a lifelong rare genetic neurological disorder – Neurofibromatosis.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Harry and daughter, Linda. Sisters, Frances (of Lethbridge) and Dawne (of Duncan, BC). With Nieces and nephews and in addition numerous great nieces and nephews. Along with extended family in New Zealand. Special friends Deb and Geri (Lethbridge), Childhood friends Jacqueline (Sherwood Park) and Sharon (Calgary).

Predeceased by loving parents Bruce and Moana Clark, Infant sister Gail and Mara’s son James.

Mara’s lifelong talents included gardening, baking, gourmet cooking, knitting – literally hundreds of slippers and mittens for the benefit of charities and family. She was thoughtful with generous, creative gift giving.

Thank you to Dr. Cunningham and Dr. Benke.

Special Thanks to Dr. Larjani and nursing staff on units 5B and 4C.

Celebration of life to follow at a later date.
