Lucy Hurst Obituary

Lucy passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on October 9/2023 at Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 87.

Lucy was predeceased by her husband George in 2017, and is survived by her three daughters, Kristina Moorehouse, Georgette Mortimer, Eileen(Quinn) Gerk. She had two grand children and three great grand children.

Lucy was born in Gruta Poland to Jan and Kazmira Slupinski . Later she moved to Germany and spent seven years there and then in 1950 came to Canada where she married George Hurst in 1957.

In 2017, George passed away two months before their 60th wedding anniversary. Lucy had a very special cousin Zenia Koop, whose she was very close to. Then in 2022 she met Gerry who was a great companion for her until his passing. His daughter, Lorraine, was a special friend to our mother as well.

Lucy had an infectious smile that will be missed by all.

As per Lucy's request, no funeral service will be held.
