Heaven gained an angel last night. Our beloved Mama has passed on. She wasn't just a friend, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, or great-grandmother — she was the heart of our family.
Mama was the kind of person who was our constant — the one we all turned to. She taught with wisdom, listened with love, and never held back when she had something to say. You always knew where she stood — and that she stood with you. (Most of the time.) Her opinions were strong because her love was even stronger.
And oh, those Crocs — she had them in every color, and wore them everywhere, unapologetically. Whether at home, at the store, or at family gatherings, they were her signature. Comfortable, practical, and unmistakably her — just like the way she lived her life.
She also never turned down a good game of Five Crowns — and don't even think about cheating (even if she did, lol). Mama watched the discard pile like a hawk and called out any funny business before you could even blink. She played to win, but more than that, she played to be together — to laugh, to talk, to connect. That table, those cards, and those unforgettable game nights will always hold a special place in our hearts.
We are so grateful for all the time we spent together and the memories we shared. Those moments — big and small — are now treasures we'll carry with us forever.
We miss her more than words can say, but we find comfort in knowing she's reunited with Papa — catching up and watching over us together. Her love surrounds us still, in every story we tell, every recipe we pass down, every game night we play. Though she's no longer here in person, her spirit lives on in all of us — and always will.
Rest easy, Mama. You will always be with us. 

Burial will be Saturday, July 12, 2025 710 1 Avenue, Stirling, following the service

Great grandchilden - Carter, Liam, Ivy & Ella Shoell, Astrid & Kailer Gray-Root, Sophia Gray and Baby Gray.
