LINDA VAN VLIET
With deep sorrow but grateful hearts, our mother and Oma went into the loving arms of her Savior on December 10, 2021 at the age of 86.
She was born April 30, 1935 in Beilen, Drenthe, The Netherlands. She immigrated to Canada in 1955, met our father, John, and their life and family began.
Her faith, family, nature and music were a great source of joy in her life.
Linda is survived by her children: Alice (Tony) Frank; Joyce (Harold) Funk; Henry Van Vliet; Debbie (Shawn) Westerson. She was Oma to 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband John in 2009, brothers Albert Snoeyer; Harry Snoeyer; sister Tina Tamming and daughter-in-law Belle Van Vliet.
Family would like to thank the staff of 4C at CRH during a short stay and Edith Cavell over the past number of years for the wonderful care and compassion shown.
A family graveside ceremony will be held at a later date.
