Larry Albert Vayro
June 14, 1940 - February 1, 2025
With immense love, the family of Larry Albert Vayro wishes to announce his passing peacefully at home on February 1, 2025.
Larry Albert Vayro was born in Taber, Alberta on June 14, 1940 to Vaneta (née Cannaday) and John (Albert) Vayro. He shared his childhood with three brothers (Ted, Clare and Gordon) and a sister (Ethel). Tales from his youth were never in short supply, as he gleefully told stories involving many practical jokes and numerous laughs.
Larry spent most of his life outdoors, constantly taking on new projects, skills and animals. His love for everything from horses down to pheasant chicks was clear on any visit to his farm. Larry was often quiet about his many acquired talents, but never hesitated to utilize them for anyone needing a helping hand.
Abounding love and exceptional wit were traits that followed Larry into every room. His mischievous grin and sparkling eyes were always indicative of whatever banter was about to sneak into conversation. Those qualities are remembered fondly by those he shared life with.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Judith, of nearly 64 years. He is also survived by three sons: Kendall, Dale (Colleen), and Trace (Angie), seven grandchildren: Duane, Steven, Flint, Chyanne (Dylan), Josey (Tyrell), Alexa (Jeff), and Karsen, and seven great-grandchildren. He is also remembered lovingly by the family of Cynthia and James Heninger, as well as an abundance of dear friends.
Larry was predeceased by his son Larry Allen and two great-grandchildren.
At his request, a celebration of life will be held in lieu of a funeral service later this year.
