It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of KILE JOE ZAHOREJKO.
Kile will be lovingly remembered and terribly missed by: his parents Sandi (Randy) Nystrom and Stephen Zahorejko; his brother Boe Zahorejko; his grandmother Sylvia Woodford; his nephews and nieces Xavier, Venice, Ayro, Lexa, and Caleb; his step-sister Sharlene Nystrom. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his big brother Alex Zahorejko in 2017, grandfather Joseph Zahorejko, his grandmother (grandma with the sandals) Mary Villebrun and Grandfather Ernie Villebrun, great grandmother (Granny) Frances Caldwell.
Kile was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on October 1, 1986. He lived in Lethbridge most of his life with the exception of living in Edmonton and Calgary for the last years of his life. He was an energetic, caring, giving man who cared deeply for his family. The connection and love he had for his nephews and nieces was easy for anyone to see. The bond he shared with his big brothers was intense, and insurmountable.
It was very important to Kile that he always looked his best. Kile took great pride in self-care regarding his appearance. His hair always looked spectacular and he dressed with style!
Kile enjoyed archery, travelling, music, and questioning the meaning of life. He was an exceptional journeyman scaffolder and thoroughly enjoyed the trade in which he excelled at.
Kile was baptized in to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The way he cared about others was a testament of his beliefs in the Church.
The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Salmon and Sons Funeral Home, 433 Stubb Ross Rd Lethbridge, AB at 10 A.M. Friends are welcome to pay their respects from 9:15 to 9:45 prior to the service.
