Ken Yamamoto
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Yamamoto, beloved husband, father , grandfather and great grandfather on April 23, 2025 at the age of 95.
Ken was a farmer first but adapted well to his retirement years in Lethbridge enjoying many trips to various casinos, but Bully's was his personal favourite where he was treated like a true friend.
He lost his wife Ruby in 2023, having been married for 67 years. He is survived by children Amy (Vic) Stasiuk, Vickie (Ken) Nakagama and Kerby (Rshmi) Yamamoto; grandchildren Sheena (David) Holm, Kendra Nakagama, Joel (Erica) Stasiuk , Kyle (Kate) Nakagama and Ilisha, Ashaan and Ajay Yamamoto; and great grandchildren Oliver and Emma Holm and Sofia and Zoe Stasiuk. Also left to mourn is his older sister and friend May Matsumiya and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Elsie Matsumura, Lil Tajiri and Joyce Thatcher.
The family would like to thank the staff at Buffalo Grace Manor for the care Dad received for the past few months.
A private family service will be held at a future date.
