It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kassie Jo Rose (Bullock) beloved wife, daughter, granddaughter, and friend. Kassie passed away on February 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of determination, laughter and unforgettable memories.

Born on September 9, 1993, at Calgary Foothills Hospital, Kassie came into this world facing challenges. With a single kidney that was functioning at 20%, it was a miracle that she made that kidney last until she was 19 years old. She was fortunate to get a kidney transplant in 2016 that lasted until 2021 when it failed. Sadly that was the last time she felt well, but most people would never have known. She never complained. If you knew Kassie, you knew that nothing was going to hold her back. With grit, determination, and a contagious zest for life, Kassie lived each day to the fullest.

Kassie grew up in Welling where Grannie Annie and Poppa Roddy shared with her their love of horses and the Gospel. Horses were her passion, country music was real music and according to Kassie (and frankly, no one could argue with her), she was Poppa Roddy's favourite, hands down.

October 3, 2012, Kassie met the love of her life, Spencer Rose and life was never the same for him after that. They married on December 7, 2013, in the Cardston Temple with Kassie rocking her cowboy boots at the wedding reception - because a true cowgirl wouldn't have it any other way. Kassie loved her job as a recreation aid at the Prairie Ridge Good Samaritans Society in Raymond and every day at work with Kassie was a party. The residents and staff loved her and she loved them.

Kassie had a unique gift: she would tell you exactly what she thought, even if it was about you—and somehow have you laughing right along with her. Her honesty was refreshing, her humour infectious and her love for her family unwavering.

Kassie leaves behind her loving husband Spencer Rose, her fur baby "Furby", her mother Cindi Oskam & step-Father Johan Oskam, her sister Krystina, in-laws Deborah & Richard Rose along with extended family, friends and all those whose lives she touched with her warmth and wit.

We know she is having a wonderful reunion with her Grandparents and family on the other side.

A celebration of Kassie's life will be held at: The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-days Saints, Taylor Street Chapel in Raymond Alberta on 22nd February 2025.

Viewing between 10:00 to 10:45am. The funeral service at 11:00am.

Refreshments after the gravesite burial will be back at the Taylor Street Chapel.

Please join us as we share stories, laughter, and memories of a remarkable woman who lived life on her own terms.
