It is with deep sadness that the family of Karen Elizabeth Cook shares her departure from this life on January 2nd, 2021 in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Karen is predeceased by her father Clifford Brent Cook and her two brothers Christopher John and David Brent Cook.

She is survived by her son Antonio Prete, her mother Wendy (Broaddus) Stambaugh, and her siblings Sherri (Chris) Campbell; Kevin (Jenn) Cook; Barb (Sheridan) Smith; Tom Cook; Brian Cook and Dan (Tina) Cook.

Karen was born March 14, 1974 in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada.

She was the fourth born of nine children.

Karen had a beautiful smile which enhanced her sweet personality. She excelled in homemaking skills, especially cooking and baking. She shared her talents with her family.

Karen also enjoyed nature so walking was part of her lifestyle.

Karen’s love for her son Antonio was unconditional. He was the joy of her life.

Karen will be missed and our love for her as a family will endure forever...
