It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Hilary Blackwell on September 5, 2023 at the age of 90 years, in Raymond, Alberta.

Hilary was born in Yorkshire, England on May 31, 1933 to Madge Knowles Blackwell and Clifford Harry Blackwell.  They travelled to Alberta when he was 15 and worked on a farm North of Edmonton.

Hilary is survived by Marlene Harris Blackwell, the love of his life. Together they were blessed with six children; (Boyde) & Jean, (Pam) & Scott, (Lynnette) & Kevin, (Sandra) & Mark, (Clifford) & Mary and (Madge) & Don. Their posterity grew to have 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9 at 2.30 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ( 27 Cobblestone Lane) Raymond, Alberta.
