Gloria Jean Manser, age 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Gloria was born in Lethbridge, AB to John and Beulah Manser on June 24th, 1940. She went to school in Foremost and Lethbridge and then on to achieve her teaching degree at the University of Calgary. Gloria worked as an elementary teacher for 30 years in the Calgary school system before retiring at 55. She was married for 17 years with no children. She did have 3 Westie dogs, Gaffer, Button and Beau that were her fur family. Gloria was predeceased by her parents, brother Brian Manser and sisters Shirley (Don) Morrison, Nola Lerner and Susan Manser, as well as a nephew, Andy Morrison and a niece, Debbie Sandberg.
Gloria is survived by her sisters, Jan (Don) Standing and Loretta Sandberg and brother Garren (Laura Lea) Manser and Auntie Gloria and by 12 nieces and 6 nephews as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend gratitude to Dianne Standing, Gloria's niece, for her loving care over the last six years.
A Private Viewing and Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 23rd in Lethbridge at Salmon and Sons Funeral Home.
