Gladys Archer Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gladys Archer on May 27/25 at the age of 88 shortly after losing her husband Wayne.


Gladys was born in Kentville, Nova Scotia to William and Amy Wallace. She was predeceased by her parents, siblings and her daughter (Lila Star).


Gladys leaves behind a loving legacy and is survived by her children Susan (Don) Perks & Michael (Lynne) Elliott. She is also survived by 5 grand children and 11 great grand children. 


Gladys had many accomplishments but was instrumental in starting the womens shelter and giving it its name"Harbour House". She lived her life helping others, retiring from Rehoboth Christian Ministries and was an active member in the Legion Ladies Auxiliary since 1964.


The funeral will be held on Saturday May 31/25 at 1100am at Salmon & Sons Located at 433 Stubb Ross Road. Following the service will be the Interment at Mountview Cemetery and a reception.


The family would like the extend a sincere thanks to the staff at the Coaldale Health Center as well as the Chinook Regional Hospital.
