Geraldine (Geri) Edith Masse of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away on May 7, 2023 at the age of 74 years.

Geri will be missed and remembered by her children: Ian Chapman (Coralie) and Jillian Chapman (Sasa); grandchildren: Natalie, Ashlyn, Adam, and Genevieve; sisters: Margaret (Gary), Sheila (Norm), and Merle (Don); and her other relatives and friends. Geri was predeceased by her parents, George and Lillian Masse of St. Paul, AB.

Prior to her retirement, Geri was a fixture in Southern Alberta medical labs where she worked as a laboratory technologist. She met many dear friends through work and kept in touch after retiring, enjoying movie nights and visits in restaurants.

Books were a large part of Geri's life. She loved to read mysteries and romances and had collected a small library of books by the time she moved out of her house. Geri spent a year at the Seasons Lethbridge Gardens Retirement Residence before her recent move to St. Michael's for palliative care.

Geri was a loving grandmother and traveled often to visit her grandchildren. Through these travels, she visited Kingston, Toronto, Ottawa, Tampa Bay, Barrie, and Winnipeg. She was fortunate enough to take a Caribbean cruise with her children and grandchildren over Christmas 2019, just before the world shut down because of the Covid pandemic. After she became ill, Geri's kids and grandchildren journeyed to Lethbridge often to visit her.

Geri's family is extremely grateful for the support and care that she received from Seasons Lethbridge Gardens and St. Michael's. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre at 960 19 St S, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 1W5.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday May 13, 2023 at Salmon and Sons Funeral Home, 433 Stubb Ross Road S, Lethbridge.
