On December 26, 2025, Gayle Dubyk passed away at the age of 67 years.
She is survived by her sister Marlene (Charles), brother David (Shelley), sister-in-law Martha, and Aunt Betty, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents Dmytro “Matt” and Bertha, as well as her brother Larry.
Gayle was born and raised in Lloydminster, SK. She had a special fondness for animals, which remained throughout her life. As a young woman, she served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Diego, California. Following her return, she spent most of her career working for the Church Educational System, first in Edmonton, and then in Lethbridge, where her many colleagues enjoyed her quick wit and never-ending sense of humor.
As the keeper of the family grapevine, Gayle could always be counted on to remember birthdays, weddings and other special days. She was constantly on the lookout for your next birthday card. And it was always hilarious!
Gayle will be greatly missed, but we are grateful for the time we have enjoyed together and look forward to the day that we meet again.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 205 Fairmont Blvd S, Lethbridge.
