Eleanor Mae Thomson Obituary

Eleanor, a true character and vibrant spirit, was a sweet, spunky, and caring woman. A passionate gardener, traveler, and teacher, she also found joy in painting and yoga. She will forever win the prize for the best grandma apple pie, a simple but profound expression of the warmth she shared with her family.

Her love of travel took her across the world, and she delighted in sharing those experiences with her children and grandchildren, connecting us all to a bigger and more beautiful world. Eleanor's legacy is one of joy, creativity, adventure, and boundless love.

She will be deeply missed by her three children: Laurie Hawkins (Art), Fred Thomson (Bev), and Bob Thomson (Cheryl); six grandchildren, Tara (Patrick), Cole, Jayce (Anouk), Ben (Rebecca), Melissa (Cole), and Lyrah (Keegan); and her eight great-grandchildren.

Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Colin A. Thomson.

Upon her wishes, there will be a private Celebration of Life Ceremony.
