Elden Lynn Coleman passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Magrath, Alberta, at the age of 104 years.

He leaves three daughters, Wendy, Carol (Lloyd Ungricht deceased) of Orem, Utah and Noreen, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Elden was predeceased by his son Gary (Pinky), parents Alvero and Dora Jensen Coleman, sister Wanda Gibb, and brothers Ormus (Bill), Veston (Ruth), Ervin, DeVar (Marjorie), and Duane (WW II).

Elden joined the army in 1941, and was called up from the Engineers in England during WW II, to get the soldiers in shape, and ready to fight. He later worked with soldiers convalescing from fighting. After returning home in 1945, he worked as a P. E. instructor at the Lethbridge Prisoner of War Camp in Lethbridge and was a carpenter for many years.

In 1947, he married Marjorie Dudley of Magrath, played basketball with the Magrath Rockets, golfed, hunted and enjoyed life. He was active in his church callings and community.

We are grateful for the privilege of sharing so many years with our Dad, grandpa and father-in-law. He will be dearly missed.

Friends may meet the family at the Magrath Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Centre, November 9, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. with the Funeral Service will start at 12:30 P.M. with Bishop Rick Gilson officiating. Interment to follow at the Magrath Cemetery.
