Don passed away suddenly May 30, 2022 at the age of 95 years.

A shining example of a fine gentleman, he will be lovingly remembered and for ever in our hearts. Don was predeceased by his loving wife of 71 years, Dorothy in 2020 and his son Jim in 2015. He is survived by his children Bill (Susan) and Dawna; his grandchildren Chelsea, Breanna, Anali (Dmitri), Jadon (Jessica), Blair (Leah); and great-grandchildren Alice, Alex, Nicky, Hannah, Maggie, Gillian and Colin.

Don spent his working years within Beaver Lumber Company, managing stores with Dorothy doing the books throughout southern Alberta, then for a time as district manager for southern Alberta and finishing his career as the Lethbridge franchise owner. Seemingly for ever on the move, yet always drawn back home to Taber for fun times with loving family and the best of friends.
