February 23, 1956 (Saskatoon, SK) – October 14, 2021 (Lethbridge, AB)

Don passed away peacefully at home on October 14, 2021.

Don is survived by three daughters: Rhoda Baran (David) from Outlook Saskatchewan, Anise-Marie Fast (Travis Wolak) from Lethbridge Alberta, Danielle Arneson (Albany & Justin) from Lethbridge Alberta. Five grandchildren: Jesse, Alex, Piper, Anastasia, and Vannessa. Three Siblings: Ken Fast (Sharon), Rob Fast (Wendy), Brenda Nixey (George). Nephews: Brian Fast (Sarah Mathison), Scott Fast (Brandie) and their children from Blairmore Alberta, and Bryon Kletzel (Brittany) and their children from Borden Saskatchewan.

Don had a passion for raising birds, fish, and plants and had a passion for cooking; he enjoyed travelling, fishing, painting, photography, and music. He was an avid Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

Don received a Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree from the University of Lethbridge in 2004 where he studied to become an Addictions Counsellor.

The family has asked that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Lung Association of Alberta & NWT.
