Catherine Maria Bennett, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was reunited in heaven with her Savior and late husband Donald Bennett on Saturday, February 24, 2024. She passed away peacefully of natural causes at Prairie Ridge Lodge in Raymond, Alberta at the age of 80 years old.

She is lovingly remembered by her 3 siblings John Franzen, Tore Franzen and Tura Franzen. Her children: Virginia Hartley, Bruce and Ann (Crawford) (passed) Earl, Darren and Verena (Crawford) Beazer, Derra Murray and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Cathy also leaves behind 6 step-children and their families from her second marriage with Donald Bennett.

She was predeceased by her parents Tore and Catherine Franzen, her husband Donald Bennett, her daughter Ann Earl and son Stephen Crawford

A Funeral Service will be held  Saturday March 2, 2024 at 3:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Knight Street Chapel, in Raymond, Alberta.

Friends are welcome to meet with the family from 2:00 to 2:45 prior to the service.
