We are sad to announce that Carol Denise Johnson (nee Thibeault), passed away of liver cancer at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta on Thursday March 13, 2025 at the age of 69. 

Born on March 7, 1956, in Timmins, Ontario, to Roland and Edna Thibeault, Denise spent majority of her life in Timmins before starting a family and moving out east with the father of her children, Alan Johnson.

After settling down in Lethbridge, Alberta, she found her true calling which was working with children. Denise dedicated nearly 23 years to it's a Blast and deeply loved working with the children at Blast. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Edna Thibeault; and her sisters, Lorraine and Roxanne. Denise is survived by her son Erik and daughter Kendra(Brandon). She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Interfaith Food Bank Society of Lethbridge or It's a Blast in Denise's memory. 

A Funeral Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fairmont Chapel (205 Fairmont Blvd South, Lethbridge) on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 11:00am.
