Brian Jensen Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Brian Le Roy Jensen, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, on June 3rd 2021 at the age of 68.

Brian's insatiable love for adventure led him to become a large part of the community. Originally from Taber AB, he competed in the Rodeo Days, was a Volunteer Firefighter, Karate instructor, skiing instructor, Parks Ranger and taught many young kids Hunter Training.

His service in the Canadian Armed Forces spanned over a decade. He was especially proud to be an Airborne Graduate, Repelling Instructor and to receive trophies for his competition shooting. Most notable was the life long friend he made, Rick Weiss, whom he regarded as more than a friend but a brother.

As the family grew, children and grandchildren filled the space left from his years of adventuring. He took great comfort and satisfaction in teaching them the skills he accumulated. His knowledge and memories were a subject of many gatherings around the camp fire and on fishing trips. He loved to tell everyone about his scuba diving days, bow hunting and motocross. Another of his joys was wood working. He made a rocking horse of solid oak which has been handed down to his grandchildren.

Above all else, Brian was a devoted husband, life partner and best friend to Erika Jensen. He was a beacon of light to his family. His positive attitude and uplifting energy was felt by everyone who's lives he touched. We find comfort and gratitude in the rich life Brian led and the lessons he taught each of us.

In Brian's later years he has come to know and love his God Jehovah, and was Studying the bible, attending meetings and was working hard to become an unbaptized publisher.

He is now safe in Jehovah's memory, awaiting the resurrection in the new world.

Survived by his wife: Erika Jensen. Siblings: Deborah (Richard), Cheryl, Brenda (Aiden), and Brent.
Children : David (Helen), Charla and Jared (Karen).
Grandchildren: Berlynn, Coraline, Blayden and Bayne.
He is predeceased by his Mother, Hazel and Father, Donald Jensen.
