JENSEN, HOPE

HOPE JENSEN

HOPE HARKER JENSEN, our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was reunited with her eternal companion Raymond A. Jensen on January 18, 2021. She passed away peacefully and was welcomed to a joyous reunion.

Hope was born January 25, 1923 in Magrath, Alberta. Her life was full of love, family and service.  Most important in her life were family and her faith in Jesus Christ.  She was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and spent her life in service to family, church, friends and community.

Hope is survived by her children, Sylvia (Robert) Leishman, Philip (Linda), Glen (Shauna), Murray (Bev), Bruce (Kendra), Randal (Karianne), 25 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; sisters Martha Wright and Gloria (Tye) Alston.  She is predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Raymond Jensen, her parents Nephi and Harriette Harker, brothers Cline (Alice) Harker, Ray (Bernice) Harker, sisters Phoebe (Blaine) Norton, Mable (Mirza) Pack, Lamar (Ed) Ashton, Fern (Max) Heggie, Vivian (Bob) Avery and Joan (Ron) Ririe.

Mom, we will miss you dearly. We are so grateful for your example of love, faith and service for us to strive to follow.

Special thanks to Dr. Wallace Tollestrup and the staff at the Prairie Ridge Good Samaritans in Raymond.
