Diana Wade Obituary

Diana Shirley Wade (Clem) Passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2024, in Lethbridge, Alberta, at the age of 80. She was born on May 19th, 1943, in Notikewin, Alberta.

Diana was the hardest working and determined woman I have ever met. Her laugh could fill the room like music when her singing didn’t. She was the eldest child always caring and loving to her two brothers Bruce Clem and Bob Clem. Diana adored her mother Agnes and her father Harry, and though she surely added to their grey hairs, she would also take care of them, as they did for her, in their twilight years. Diana was a single mother to two daughters, Michele Maxwell, and Melody Flett, and though it was far from easy many days, through Diana’s hard work and perseverance she proudly raised two fiery, strong, and independent women in her daughters. Diana’s three “Grand babies”, Harrison Maxwell, Dylan Maxwell and Brianne Flett were blessed with the best grandmother this world has seen, from her masterful baking of cookies cakes and more, her sly and lighthearted cribbage plays and her unforgettable stories, Diana made theirs, and everyone lucky enough to meet her, lives so much brighter and far, far more interesting. Diana was an entertainer, performing on radio shows, hosting get togethers and telling the best stories you could hear. She could lead you on a journey and you would feel as if you were there while watching her beautiful blue eyes dance with each sentence. Diana was an artist and seamstress, making everything from cross stitched art, crocheted blankets, and beautiful dresses. She was a skilled and wonderful singer, guitarist, and auto harp player, often playing with her beloved brother Bruce for many to hear, dance to and join along. Diana never had any issues with getting her hands dirty either, loving to care for and ride her horses through out her life. If she could’ve, she would’ve had a horse in the suburbs too! Many will miss Diana’s famed cooking, a skill that had people running from across the province for her homecooked meals and would pay as much as Diana would allow for her one-of-a-kind cheesecakes. Diana spent her final years living a happy, quiet life under the loving care of her daughter Michele and grandson Harrison in Lethbridge and left this world peacefully while surrounded by her loved ones. Diana was loved by many and while she is dearly missed, she will always be remembered. We wish Diana safety, peace, and lots of joy on her final journey.

Дай Боже.
