ZAHOREJKO ALEX LYLE December 21, 2017
September 15, 1985 – December 10, 2017
It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of ALEX LYLE ZAHOREJKO.
Alex will be lovingly remembered and terribly missed by; his children Lexa Zahorejko and Caleb Zahorejko; his parents Sandi (Randy) Nystrom and Stephen Zahorejko; his brothers Boe Zahorejko and Kile Zahorejko; his grandmother Sylvia Woodford; his nephews and niece Xavier Zahorejko, Venice Zahorejko, and Aryo Zahorejko; his companion Kirby Mills-GrosVentreBoy: he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his loving grandmother (grandma with the sandals) Mary Villebrun in 2015 and great grandmother (Granny) Frances Caldwell in 1988.
Alex was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on September 15, 1985. He lived in Lethbridge most of his life with the exception of living in Saskatoon, Sask and Calgary, Alberta for a short time. He was a kind, gentle, loving, generous soul who would do anything he could, to help anyone who needed it. He was blessed with having two wonderful children whom he loved so much. Lexa and Caleb were a gift to him and the loves of his life.
Alex loved country music as well as all music. He loved to two-step and would take any opportunity available to dance up a storm.
Alex was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The way he loved people and helped people was a testament of his beliefs in the Church. In Alex’s words: “Live, love, lift others and define yourself in Gods eyes as a loving human”.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, 2410 – 28 St. S. Lethbridge, AB (next to the Enmax Centre) at 11:00am. Friends are welcome to pay their respects from 10 to 10:45am, prior to the service.
